It was pretty inevitable that my career led to me to become an online business coach and digital nomad to be honest.

From a really young age, I’ve been the friend you come to if you want brutally honest advice. I’m the organiser of the social plans, and the one who connects two friendship groups together.

To my family, I’m the daughter who is always out of the country and living life outside of society’s expectations. I live for the plot, always have, because I NEVER want to look back with regrets.

To my ex-colleagues, I was the one who would speak up in meetings if I didn’t agree, or suggest a new idea nobody else would dare think of. By nature, I’m a leader, a risk taker, and a highly intuitive, emotionally intelligent person.

And to my clients? I’m the online business coach who FINALLY makes them feel seen. I underpromise and overdeliver. I intuitively know what you need and give you a realistic framework, mixed with some honest truths, to make it happen.

Many entrepreneurs come to me after a bad coaching experience – burned out, overcharged, and under-supported – I provide a greater transformation than they’ve ever experienced, giving more value in one session, than they had in months elsewhere.

I Learned about online business Through Life, Not University

Maybe this outlook comes from leaving school at 16. I’m a kinaesthetic learner, so university was never really on the cards for me – I learn by doing. When I left school, I went straight into work, jumped on opportunities as they came, and built real-world life and work experience instead of collecting degrees, all of which has helped me massively in building my online business.

I’ve travelled to over 45 countries, lived in 6, listened to hundreds of podcasts, read more self-help books than I can count, and tried many healing, wellness, and self-development modalities. I’ve probably had more life experience than the average 70 year-old – and I’m still only in my mid 30s.

Since 2021, I’ve taken my online business all over the world, living as a digital nomad and building my own dream life full of time, location and financial freedom. So yes – I feel pretty well qualified to help other entrepreneurs build online businesses designed around their dream lifestyle too.

I Had the “Dream Career”, but it wasn't my dream!

Before becoming an online business coach, I spent 12 years in the corporate fashion industry working for some of the world’s biggest brands – Ralph Lauren, Diesel, Kate Spade and Burberry. I started as an intern and bowed out after managing a £380 million business, launching a European subsidiary, presenting five-year plans to board members, leading strategies that impacted share prices, and organising global conferences.

It was the dream job on paper, so why was I was waking up every day with chest-pounding anxiety, having panic attacks in the bathrooms at work, and questioning why I was tolerating toxic bosses, office politics, and a two-hour commute that cost me £500 a month.

I didn’t fit the typical corporate employee mould – I was too honest, too intuitive, too willing to call things out – and I suffered in silence for that, until one day I decided enough was enough.

In 2020, I quit my corporate job with the full intention of travelling the world. Then the pandemic hit. My flight got cancelled, we went into lockdown, and suddenly I was jobless in London with a mortgage to pay. So, I did the only thing I could do at that time – I built an online business.

At first, I started freelancing and offering my skills to all the e-commerce brands born out of lockdown. That quickly transitioned into mentoring when I realised every founder I worked with had the same problems I could help them solve.

I became obsessed with online business and fell down the full entrepreneurial rabbit hole, testing out online courses, memberships, group programmes, digital products, agency, affiliate marketing, drop shopping, consulting – honestly, you name an online business model, I have probably tried it.

By the end of 2021, I was making consistent £5–£7k months and had built enough confidence, stability and financial freedom to finally live out my dream of becoming a digital nomad – so I booked a one-way flight to Bali to live my own Eat Pray Love moment.

You could spend years going back and forth about certain things and being unsure, but having an outside perspective look into your business will save you so much time and will get your feet moving forward instead of being stuck. Sophie provides a lot of clarity, as well as insights into things that you never even considered!

And my online business was successful, until i burned out...

Running my online business from Bali wasn’t all sunsets and smoothie bowls, as you might believe from social media.

Despite physically being in paradise, my mind was struggling, and I suffered the biggest burnout of my life. I’d burned out a couple of times back in London, but not to this level. This one left me more or less bed-bound for 12 weeks, leading me to take 6 months “off” my business because I physically couldn’t function at the pace I had been pushing at.

I realised I was trying to work at London pace on island time – and it was never going to work. If I wanted to maintain this lifestyle, something was going to have to change. I had a very painful realisation that I hadn’t built myself a business – I’d built myself a job.

So I rebuilt myself and my business. I systemized, I automated, I kept pivoting until I figured out exactly what worked for me. I stopped doing what the “gurus” told me and focused on what felt good for me. I redesigned my business so my mental health, lifestyle, and freedom came first.

Hustle culture is not cool. Burnout is debilitating, and I never wish that upon anyone, it has lasting effects that I’m still paying for.

If my business isn't allowing me to live the life I want (location independent, financially free, in control of my own time) then I pivot until it does.

MAINTAIN BALANCE

I NEVER want to burn out again, so my rest is planned in, my mental health comes first, I protect my energy, and my work-life balance supports me.

GROWTH ORIENTED

Entrepreneurship is the biggest self-development journey. I see failures as lessons, and continue to evolve as I grow, my business grows with me.

my mission now is simple

I’m here to help people build an online business that works for their lifestyle – not one that destroys their mental or physical health. I’ve done the work, I’ve tried and tested so many different methods, and I’ve spent time learning from the best in business.

My conclusion? There is no one strategy that works for every person. I’ll never put you in a box, and I’m not going to give you a cookie-cutter approach. Yes, of course, there are strategies that are going to work better than others and blueprints you can follow – and I will share those with you – but ultimately your business needs to be designed to work FOR YOU.

Otherwise, what’s the point?

I’ve supported 100+ founders in the online space, helped launch 18 start-ups, scaled a client’s new online revenue stream from £0 to £178k in 9 months and increased another client’s sales by +75%.

I’ve designed and hosted sold out events for entrepreneurs, built a community of over 400 people in person, I’ve spoken on stages to 100+ people. I also founded Time Is Not A Healer, leading me being voted CEO Monthly Mental Health Founder Of The Year 2025.

I understand online business at a 360-degree strategic level because I’ve built it all myself – service offers, mentoring, digital products, memberships, courses, consulting – I’ve done it without a team, without funding, without an agency behind me.

If you want the promise of “£100k months”, I’m not your girl. ALOT of clients come to me burned out, frustrated, and deflated after chasing that narrative with another hustle culture coach.

I’m a Pisces sun, Scorpio moon and Sagittarius rising. A 4/6 Manifesting Generator. A 28/1 life path. I’m a reiki practitioner, a tarot reader, and I’m currently training to be a yoga and meditation teacher. As much as I’m a highly spiritual person, I’m also very logical and grounded which I believe makes me a well rounded coach. I can see the emotional blocks AND the strategy. We’re not just talking intuition – we’re talking alignment, nervous system, leadership, systems, marketing, structure and sales.

It’s the best of both worlds – and it works. Clients are often shocked by how much I know, and regularly label me as “very wise beyond my years”.
